STAPLE: How I organize sources in Zettelkasten

In my Obsidian notes, I use STAPLE structure of organizing research. This acronym originated from the thought that this is the staple for research.

It’s structured like the following:

Seen at

{{date}} {{time}}

Title

Author

Publish time

Link

Embedder – Backlink

Sometimes, when I’m citing a YouTube video, I use YouTube Data Viewer. That way I can see the publish time.

The main reason I use STAPLE is for S – seen at and L – link. Everything else is optional.

Because blog isn’t Zettelkasten, you won’t be seeing this in this blog. I’m just putting it here so that you can use it if you want to. Also, this is a bookclub, not a general notetaking platform, so I won’t need to write notes with knowledge from YouTube videos.
